Indiana Jones

In Sacrament Meeting today, one of the talks that was given spent 5-10 minutes of the talk recounting the last 30 minutes of Indian Jones and the Last Crusade. Quite frankly I can't even remember what the woman was talking about, once she started in on Indiana Jones I was just trying not to make eye contact with anyone sitting near me. Really all I can say is "Wow!"

I would have LOVED avoiding eye contact with you. (I can imagine my shoulders shaking in silent laughter even as I write this).

Too true, we all should have been there. It reminds me of a bishopric member in Utah that bore his testimony (for 20 minutes) about the truths found in the film "Monsters and Mormons" (I can only assume he meant Mobsters and Mormons).

Awesome!

Lyn,

Reminds me of a fast and testimony meeting in Eagle, Colorado where one elder recounted his childhood desire to grow up and be sister so and so. This was after he explained how she was so fat, used to wear knee high nylons and he used to look up her skirt as she sat in front of the primary room. This was the same guy who told us of his cross country drive that was such a spiritual event. He drove into a horrible rainstorm and had to strip his clothes off and lay naked on top of his car to commune with nature.
